Nicole Foley has been planning events in Humboldt County since 2002. Nicole received a Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University in 2001. After returning to Humboldt County in 2001, she began working at the Eureka Inn assisting with event planning. Nicole became passionate about planning weddings. "I saw the need for wedding planners and decided to go out on my own", stated Nicole. "I knew I could help brides with their special day. I came to find out, mothers of brides needed the most assistance. They really are the ones who run ragged on their daughters' wedding day." While getting her business started, Nicole spent time planning events for the Scotia Inn. "I figured getting experience planning all types of events would be beneficial when my business got off the ground."

Nicole soon opened One Fine Day Event Consulting. Although she planned on consulting solely for weddings, she soon realized her expertise could be used planning all types of events. "Weddings are a huge part of what I do. I love weddings. What woman doesn't want to have a wedding every weekend?" However, Nicole began planning other events in the off season and saw the need for assistance planning fundraisers, reunions, corporate meetings, and most recently political campaigns. "If you are organized, you are in high demand. So many people just don't have time to plan important events. Hiring someone to see out your plans is a giant relief."

Nicole has since planned numerous memorable events. From the simple to the spectacular.
